CDC Pediatric Growth Charts
Health and Human Services Secretary Donna E. Shalala has released new pediatric growth charts that will be used by health professionals in tracking the physical growth of the 82 million infants, children, and adolescents in the United States.

Centers for Obesity Research & Education
The Centers for Obesity Research and Education (C.O.R.E.) was formed in 1998 to provide guidance and training for health care providers on how to manage their obese patients.

Body Mass Index (BMI)  
Body Mass Index (BMI) is a popular tool currently used by health professionals to screen individuals for their degree of obesity.
